Port Blair, April 18: The Vulnerable Witness Deposition Centre at Port Blair was inaugurated by Hon'ble Justice P.S. Sivagnanam, Chief Justice, High Court at Calcutta in the august presence of Hon'ble Justice Shampa Sarkar, Hon'ble Justice Amrita Sinha and Hon'ble Justice Krishna Rao today in the presence of the Registrar, Circuit Bench of Calcutta High Court at Port Blair, Learned District and Sessions Judge, other Judicial Officers, members of the Bar and the members of staff dedicating the facility to the Judiciary of A&N Islands.

Port Blair, April 18: All concerned have been informed that the Election Commission of India has notified the period between 7 am on 19th April, 2024 (Friday) and 6.30 pm on 1st June, 2024 (Saturday) as the period during which conducting and publishing or publicising exit poll by means of the print or electronic media or dissemination in manner whatsoever, the result of any exit poll in connection with the General Elections-2024, shall be prohibited.
